The spirit of New Orleans is unity and progress, not divisiveness and dysfunction. That’s the spirit I’ve always led with, and I’ll bring that same spirit as your next City Councilmember At-Large. ✊🏿

Whoever New Orleanians elect as mayor, I’ll be ready to work together from Day One. And when it’s time to put people first, I’ll do that too — always speaking truth to power, whether to the next mayor, a fellow councilmember, or any elected official.

That’s how I launched the Community Lighthouse project to provide sanctuary after storms, it’s how I’m running my campaign, and it’s why I’m the only candidate ready to work with any mayor committed to a better future.

I’ve always known how to stand up to bullies, and that determination has helped me succeed throughout my life.

That church became a "lighthouse" — a beacon of safety where over 200 people came to charge phones, store insulin, and get access to food and electricity when they needed it most. In just one weekend, they distributed 4,000 pounds of food.

When Ida hit in 2021 — and again, during Francine in 2024 — entire neighborhoods in NOLA went dark for days.But one place stayed on last year: Broadmoor Community Church, thanks to solar panels and battery storage installed under Pastor Gregory Manning’s leadership.
