Well done, you. I had pneumonia outta nowhere for a couple of months. That was a whole new thing for me. Lungs seem clear now... but it’s been tough getting my heart back in order. Didn’t realize it would be carrying the match, while my lungs were legit sandbagging it.

Tag team wrestling, for the most part, seems to lack rivals (and rivalries) these days. It’s often just matches... with opponents... and not very focused. This was a great match. Run it back a couple more times and go from there.

Ric was around for one show apparently, and I heard he signed at the picnic table in the park... where my son and I otherwise spent 75% of our time :)

Little story: Last house we had in TO was a stone’s throw from Ted Reeve Arena.

They used to let me in during the daytime in winter when my son was learning to walk. Round and round the rink.

Was lapsed at the time, and am now stunned by who and what went on over there at times wrestling wise :)

F.Door in Toronto, and Collision #2 and ROH the night before, were my first show in many, many, many years – after a couple C and D WWF shows as a kid. I chose SO well and felt a few years melt off :)

We’ll see where they go next, as it’s VERY important... and again, if she can still be someone at the level of Mariah May, but just with a different name. Like Vaquer there’s really not much, if anything at all, that you’d want to change.

Former film and TV editor here, so I come at it with a unique POV of course.

I’d not be surprised if this ends up with some Timeless-esque notes to it. That would be a bit disrespectful on a few levels.

The concept seems half-cooked and yes a bit confused… and thus lukewarm to stick with the bath theme.

You’d want to really nail the first couple of these (think Razor Ramon back in the day), but they may have just not put in the time or effort (or talent), so they can rush her out there.

I don’t really have time for NXT, so it’s a shame I won’t see much of her work for a while. Hopefully she can make it through any obstacles or stumbles, and still come off as the great all-rounder she’s proven to be.

The name isn’t great, but that’s an NXT feature that’s really a bug, so to speak.

She was so solid all around in AEW, and more than anything, proved she doesn’t need much packaging at all.

Thus this video comes off as not only cheap and weak from a production standpoint, but perhaps, unnecessary.

Not so into pro sports at the moment, though I certainly have been in the past – but I do remember the joy of rooting for two hated teams against each other... to just wipe each other out.

While my post-concussion head probably can’t take much of this, I appreciate your ingenuity. As a former TV editor I always LOVED the limited moments I had talking directly to composers... discussing feeling and emotion rather than shot lengths or beats per minute. Work hard, be honest, be proud.

At least Jesse didn’t have a go at Bruno, who used to take most of the match, beat his rival sensless and then walk out.

Plus, Bruno walked out with the most wonderful expression of disgust.
