We see two house sparrows drinking out of a puddle. The male says to the female: "Good puddle!" to which she replies "I love you but you have low standards". Pigeons arrive in the background, the female says "Ope! Here comes the herd" There is a long horizontal frame of the two sparrows in the midst of a bunch of pigeons cooing around them. The male then says "gentle giants" the female agrees "mhm" and then says "coo" and the male responds "haha. coo!"

I wouldn't be surprised if this is fake (what a sad world we live in) but there is movement. It's definitely getting eaten by the compression, but there is movement in every angle.

I've only had that happen to me at work, probably because we use Chrome there and I run Firefox at home (planning on changing that)

When it does happen, I always have multiple Chrome windows open (two for work, one for pleasure), and alt+tabbing between them fixes the freeze instantly.

I really like the vibe of this thing, very unique design. But why is it The bridge and The hangars (spelling, by the way) but not The quarters or The catapults?

Once a year I find myself fascinated (and irritated) by the contrast between the English speakers wishing that the coming year will be a happy one, and those seemingly wanting people to just have a nice December 31. You'd think I'd be used to it by now, but here we are.

I'm always struggling with that. It's better for a thing to exist, no matter what form it takes. Just make things! It's okay if it's not good, it exists now and didn't before!

Things are good. Especially now when we're threatened to be buried in endless, automatically generated un-things.

I should add that I'm not saying DO THIS THING, it's just an example of what real-time lighting can look like. If you only want areas of dimness and don't need reactive highlights or shadows, then all you need is a black layer on top with some masks to punch through it. Not a job for light sources.
