You know whats an underrated power? Laser Vision. Cyclops has to deal with so much, but like, in the rare flashes he gets a lid on it, he usually cleans house with his "Everything in my field of vision is seared rubble" powers

the worst part is, Horikoshi is very much capable of writing compelling characters, and organic chemisty. But these are made with the intention of always being window dressing to who he's already decided will fulfil a role. Mirio, Twice, Shinsou, Stars n Stripes. And they get screwed for it

I wouldn't. The main flaw of the series as always been that Deku and Shigaraki are about as interesting as a creamless oreo cookie.

Author favoritism is Horikoshi's biggest flaw. He's decided who's special long in advance, the universe bends to cheerlead them
