HOW is that not a good thing? I share a living space with my wife, my adult kid, his best friend, HIS partner, the partner's spouse, and sometimes THEIR collective offspring. That we get any privacy at all is a GIFT, as far as *I'M* concerned.

I do try to stay out of people's business, even when it's hard.
I've heard the argument re: lack of connection, invisibility, etc.
I get it, I do.
On the other hand, where I'M concerned, I get to enjoy Sunday morning coffee in the kitchen with my wife, uninterrupted.
