I'd rather take a long hot soak with an electrical appliance.
Give you head a wobble, Ed
Glad we're all clear about Kemi's position on the Iran war...
If we miss out on the play-offs by 2 points I'll never forgive you 😂
Lucky, lucky, lucky... 😉 @robsct.bsky.social #UTB

The United States killed all these children last Saturday.
170 of them.
Every. Single. One.
When you turn over to Sky F1 at 11:30 to watch #AustralianGP qualifying having spent all morning avoiding the outcome only find that the TV schedule on the Sky planner appears to be totally out of sync with reality and you tune in just in time to see the post-qualifying top 3 interviews 🤦♂️
We have been made aware of a distressing image doing the rounds today, suggesting Tottenham have beaten us 3-1.
This has clearly been photoshopped, and we will be taking this up with the relevant authorities.
Even we'd beat Spurs...
Only because I ran out of characters and didnt want to start a third message.
Spain want nothing to do with it. Carney in Canada has now done a u-turn and said its not compatible with international law. In the long run, the idea that Badenoch would have blindly taken us into an illegal conflict to appease a maniac president in the White House isnt a good look for her. (2/2)
Is the Iran war more like to do for Badenoch than Starmer? She was stood in the Commons at lunchtime like some sort of of Temu Thatcher wanting us to go on the offensive in Iran. But Starmer has basically said this war isn't compliant with international law (1/2)
Incredible.
The real question for Starmer should not be “why didn’t we join the war?” but “were we prepared for the consequences of not joining while still being exposed?".
Given the prolonged build up to the strikes, we really should have been more prepared for the inevitable overspill across the region.
“For all we know, we could be in the middle of Keir Starmer’s finest hour”.
Starmer’s critics say he is imperiling the UK’s special relationship with the US...
But is it Donald Trump who's doing the damage?
"Trump criticises Starmer and the UK"
Good to get confirmation that we're on the right side of history for once.
Lib Dem Leader Ed Davey:
"Tax exiles like Isabel Oakeshott and washed up old footballers who mock ordinary people who stay in the UK and pay our taxes... As we protect them, it's only right for tax exiles to start paying taxes to fund our armed forces, just like the rest of us".
Really surprised by @tomswarbrick.bsky.social arguing that we should just ignore international law because other countries do.
Two wrongs don't make a right. #LBC
These are very important, hugely consequential words:
1. The UK government does not believe the US action against Iran is lawful
2. The UK government does not believe the US has a thought-through plan for its actions
My guess is that no-one will hear, but that does not reduce their significance.
She's just permanently pandering to all the usual right wing audiences. Unless she realises that her party will never return to power without the centre ground, she will soon be back on the backbenches.
Badenoch with a total inability to read between the lines of Starmer's speech.
Starmer has many flaws. He's made many mistakes. But at least he is a grown up politician.
Badenoch can't be taken seriously.
If Starmer says our decision to join any action should be based on compliance with international law and a firm plan being in place,
What he is actually saying is we didn't join the action because it's not compliant with international law and there is no firm plan.
It's really not difficult.
Is Badenoch playing dumb or does it just come naturally?
Thoughts with all those poor tax evading, Brexit voting, British immigrants in the Middle East now trying to flee to the UK because its dangerous.
No safe routes available by air. Maybe they could get a small boat?
They looks fuckin 👌👏
Love the way they've incorporated Amy Winehouse there.
