Erika gave us a long awaited and overdue inaugural lecture for being awarded the Bowes Chair and this marks her transition to research focused status.
It is great to be part of the Department celebrating each other and looking forward to succes of each one of us.
Erika's works inspired discussion about normative aspects ot 'ethnos, demos and nation' across regions of East and South East Europe and Middle East.
@livunipol.bsky.social was most supportive, especially around Erika's lecture the day before focusing on Nationalism in East Europe.
Together with @gemmabird.bsky.social and @hannesbaumann.bsky.social we organised Workshop celebrating the work of Erika Harris. Apart form the most insightful discussions linking to Erika's legacy it was impressive to see her PhD supervisor and her PhD students in the same room
