I was thinking they would get the Traveler lines from 5.1 to 5.7 Archon and story quests recorded, but maybe most of 5.7 lines likely have more priority to be recorded, plus 5.8 if they speak.

From what I've heard so far, Abyss Aether's lines from 5.7 are recorded.

I get it. They would name it "Mario Kart 9" if they went with the samey traditional formula from previous home console games (the usual racing in isolated courses), but ultimately they didn't want to. Instead, they actually evolve the series by making an "interconnected world" concept.

It is true that Mario Kart Tour is not "Mario Kart 9" (also, that part was made up/gaslighted by fans).

But it doesn't change the fact that Nintendo still considers Mario Kart Tour as a mainline entry in the series.
(Same company who considers Fire Emblem Heroes as a mainline FE game)

Smash Bros DOJO might be back if there's going to be a Smash Bros game on the horizon.
