Seven of the 8 NE Wales parkruns were on (1 venue closed) & 6 had published results at time of posting showing 838 runners/walkers (820 for same 6 events in ‘25) w/139 volunteers helping. The venue where I usually volunteer was not available so I ran at one nearby #parkrun #running

It was raining on & off during my cycle commute this morning but the sun still put on a good show. The excitement continued when I spotted a tawny owl in a tree. Later ran 4+ miles including two sets of strides #running #cycling #sunrise

All 8 NE Wales parkruns were back on this week & hosted 1203 participants (887 for 6 events for the same week in ‘25). 265 volunteers gave their time. I was back at my favourite marshal position & had a good dance while cheering everyone on! #parkrun #running

Winter today with snow on the higher ground but Spring weather is due tomorrow (hooray!) Ran 4.7 miles with the family and we pushed each other to a pace faster than I would have achieved on my own. #running #oak

I’d love to get a photo but I doubt that will ever happen! I’ve had a little more luck with the hares insofar that I managed to get my phone out and take something but they were hardly good photos. Like seeing them in the first place, though, you never know!

You can’t plan for those sightings but it’s wonderful when they happen!
