A relatively rare, sunny autumnal day and reduced mileage for the week as nursing a niggle (an equally rare showing of common sense for me when it comes to running, I am informed) - rested yesterday and only 4 miles today. Hoping normal activity will resume shortly #running #runchat

Damp conditions (again) reduced #parkrun attendance w/907 runners/walkers at the 7 NE Wales events versus 901 for 6 events for the same week in ‘24. 135 volunteers gave their time. The sun appeared halfway through but after the rain had already created slip-n-slide conditions on our course #running

A combo of running (4 miles) and cycling (again, 4 miles) to pick up/ drop off works van at garage. I pretend it’s to help out but really I’m just having fun! #running #cycling #runningviews

Eight miles today. I really like longer runs with a distance goal rather than a time focus - tend to let my mind wander and be pleasantly surprised when I ‘come to’ and realise where I am. Joined by family members half way ‘round #running #runningviews

The 7 NE Wales parkruns hosted 878 runners/walkers - 219 fewer than last week and just 27 more than this week last year for 6 parkruns - likely to due weather and local races on today. Volunteers numbered 155. My time as RD passed without incident (sigh of relief) #running #parkrun
