A tall Tiefling Paladin in a nice coat. He has deep violet feathered wings, A set of sharp, black horns with vibrant red tips; one of the dominant horns is broken. His eyes are a deep red, and his teeth are sharp. He could be a vampire, probably not.

Dracomire, my Tiefling Paladin from my group’s longest running DnD campaign. I’ve never drawn him outside of his armor before, but I had the desire to try and figure that out this time around.

It’s amazing how this showed up for me as soon as insecure thoughts started flooding into my head again. My big enemy is myself constantly thinking I didn’t do a good job. Thinking my art isn’t good enough. So I get scared and don’t post anything. Whether it’s a WIP or finished piece.

But for some reason, I still feel hope. Even if it’s small. In my heart, I still can’t stop holding on to the hope still burning. And I want things to be alright.

There isn’t much I can do. But I’ve got hands. And I can do art. So it may be hard but I think it’s what I’ll keep on doing.

I try to be an optimist. Genuinely, I hope for the best in everything and everyone. And it may be naïve, idealistic, and just…stupid of me. I’ve found it hard to keep holding onto the things I usually believe in these past few months. It is so hard to keep holding onto hope right now.

I graduated a few months ago. When I did, I felt like life was going to be great. After everything, I’ve struggled to get a job in the industry I’ve wanted to be in. And now there’s all this election stuff. Now all I can think about is how I can get a job and get my family out of here.

Thanks muchly!! When it came to Runar’s design, the initial design came from the raskovnik plant. So I imagined Runar as a lock & key type Warframe capable of opening doors and creating portals to pass through traversable objects.
