If these immigrants are so "undocumented", how the Hell does ICE have a list of names, and more so, where to find them?
Sounds pretty documented to me

The fast food industry raised pay during covid, because they realized without the people that make and serve fast food, they had nothing.
So, if the government is gonna shut down, does that mean that ICE will shutdown too?
Oh I'm just being silly, I'm sure they will find a way to keep that shit show going.
It's October 1st...
If October comes in like a Walrus, it will go out like an Ostrich.
...or something like that, with some animals and some month or something.
Whatever...
Image of Donald Trump next to Stephen Miller. Miller is behind the presidential lectern. It is captioned: "Because he was so repulsive, Stephen Miller needed a stand in stunt double to act as president."
This might be more of a reality than a joke.

I'm guessing like the other companies, many parts are imported.
I had just stepped out of the Freightliner Cascada that my employer provides for my use while working, when I saw this post.
Here is the sticker on the door jam...
Not completely, at least not by ABC's fault. ABC did put Kimmel back on their network. Nexstar & Sinclair are big companies that own (and control) local stations.
It's messy, but ABC doesn't have full control of whether a local affiliate airs the content or not.
So I thank you for posting this, now I know Kimmel was aired on 13. I know 41 (or as they call it 4) had WOOD 8 (also Nexstar) news on.
24.09.2025 04:39 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Sorry to bring bad news, but your other ABC affiliate in that area, WZZM 13, is owned by Tegna, The company Nexstar wants to merge with. The main reason for this stunt is to gain favor with Brenden Carr, of Trump's FCC, so that merger can be approved.
Just South of GR (w/antenna) I can't get 13.
The plot thickens, people cancelling Hulu/Disney/ESPN, got the company's attention. It must have been a real bad time to have a bunch of people cancel, just before they hear about the new price increase, which also can cause people to cancel.

I was thinking about ordering some Steak n Shake, when I noticed they had new merch.
Then I decided to get a burger elsewhere.
Turns out this Biglari guy, the CEO/owner, is a huge Trumper. I didn't previously know.
There is no substantial proof that Tylenol causes autism.
In other news, there is strong evidence that getting involved in MAGA will make you as stupid as Bobby K. Jr.
Thanks for your attention to this matter.

My hope is that 4 years from now, we can look back and think, damn, those were crazy dark times. I'm glad we were able to pull through it and make things better.

"What if a year from now, we are looking back at this period in time, fondly, as the good ol' days?"
Remember, good ol' days don't usually stand out that way at the time they are happening. It's only when they are seen from the rearview mirror.

Among other things, media consolidation has another bad effect, it makes boycotting a company difficult to do, without an extended sacrifice across a much wider spectrum.
But, sometimes you need to sacrifice a little to make your voice heard.
To fully boycott ABC, also boycott...
I dunno why, but for some reason I was just thinking about this movie...

When it was first nationally syndicated in 1988, the program was broadcast on 56 stations. Growth of The Rush Limbaugh Show: 1988: The show launched in national syndication on 56 stations. Late 1990s: The number of stations grew to nearly 600. Peak: The program was eventually carried by over 650 radio stations. The show, which aired until Limbaugh's death in 2021, reached millions of listeners weekly and was broadcast on both AM and FM frequencies.
No, the Fairness Doctrine was repealed in 1987, Limbaugh went into syndication the following year in 1988.
That was one of the points of my first comment on this thread.
The repeal of the FD paved the way for Rush Limbaugh.
