Not completely, at least not by ABC's fault. ABC did put Kimmel back on their network. Nexstar & Sinclair are big companies that own (and control) local stations.

It's messy, but ABC doesn't have full control of whether a local affiliate airs the content or not.

So I thank you for posting this, now I know Kimmel was aired on 13. I know 41 (or as they call it 4) had WOOD 8 (also Nexstar) news on.

Sorry to bring bad news, but your other ABC affiliate in that area, WZZM 13, is owned by Tegna, The company Nexstar wants to merge with. The main reason for this stunt is to gain favor with Brenden Carr, of Trump's FCC, so that merger can be approved.
