Hearing now from Oxford University DPhil student Leah Schreiber on Hasidic revival in the displaced person camps, an important and necessary exploration of Jewish religious life in the aftermath of the Holocaust.
Just heard a very interesting paper on building a history of pink triangle prisoners from the information held by the @arolsenarchives.bsky.social by Royal Holloway PhD Student Lewis Champion, a part of a larger (packed!) panel on the role of digital humanities and AI in Holocaust research!
We’re hearing now from Mateusz Majman on the memory of survival among mountain Jews in Soviet territory through close, critical reading of testimony
