Oh yeah today is my 24th Birthday

Happy Spooky Month to everyone including my girlfriend (@marianaechidna.bsky.social ) & mutuals. Plus this is my birth month and my birthday is in 11th October (I expect some gift).

Nobody cares about the victims in the Dallas ICE shooting apparently. The first I've heard about one of them was on CNN today. He's fighting for his life in the hospital --- he was brought to the US when he was 13. He's 33 now. No criminal record.

I just don't know what to say anymore.

We're witnessing the most aggressive, fanatical crackdown on free speech in my lifetime. The speed and breadth of government censorship and private sector and nonprofit capitulation has been astonishing. As has the lack of urgency/silence from people who've long claimed to care about this stuff.
