This other thing spiritual people are doing where they call Trump a “catalyst” and “he has to be voted in so that the world can get to utopia later” is also really starting to grind on my nerves. People are dying, in particular people in the global south. This isn’t a game.

I’m starting to believe that the “we didn’t vote him in! He cheated!” thing is more of a way to avoid accountability and is going to give Trump voters an easy way to pretend they never voted for him in the future.

“We didn’t vote him in! He cheated!” - the US political system allowed for that man to win power either way. I’m sorry but American power monopoly has been a scourge on the world for a LONG time. A country that has been at war for most of its 250 years of existence is not innocent.

Extremely upsetting that the fate of the entire world was left in the hands of Americans and less than 80 million of them decided to vote in a man who has taken us into potentially the third world war. We must never allow one country to have this much power over the world ever again.

I do not have the energy to keep explaining this but your Fisher Price understanding of our present socio economic system means you believe in representation politics and not progressive politics.

People always say “well the women leaders we have aren’t much better!” And I have to keep reminding them that the only women leaders allowed to come to power in a capitalist patriarchy are women who do the bidding of the capitalist patriarchy.
