Thinking about my childhood when I would sit on my dad's lap, while he played poker with his mafia bros, while getting huge amounts of moon pies from the nice ladies that worked there, not realizing they were hookers.

The place was a hideout disguised as a hotel. I had no idea til I was older.

For real! Fatgum also needs an UR and they need to add Spinner. Like wtf there are movie villains but not spinner???

But God, do I feel for him when he says how much he misses his dad, how much he wants to apologize for every stupid thing he's done, and just basically wanting to see him one last time.

He gave me my morals, taught me etiquette, and loved me until he died. Then I separated from everything involving that life at 16.

I relate to Chisaki. The difference is that I didn't have to worry about Quirks destroying my dad's life.

He adopted me when my mom was going to prison, and I was just a tiny baby. He was someone I admired, wanted to strive to be, and taught me that when someone hurts you, you turn the other cheek, but remember, you only have two cheeks.

Chisaki cares about his dad, and his motives revolve around that love no matter the cost. Even to the point of hurting him to help him.

I guess Chisaki is one of those characters I kinda relate to because while my dad wasn't a mafia boss by any means, he was still mafia.

He sees everything as dirty, hence why people don't look like people to him.

I wouldn't call him a sociopath, as sociopaths have feelings of love strictly tied to their own needs and less so because they care about other people.

He did all these things because of his love for his "dad". A man who adopted him and raised him when he didn't have to. That love makes him feel indebted to him.

He's mentally unwell. VERY mentally unwell. Between his germaphobia and the way he views people, he has a hard time being normal.

As someone who comes from a similar background as Chisaki, I'm stuck between wanting to slap the shit out of him and feeling sorry for him. He's an example of good intentions and bad execution.

Don't get me wrong. I am NOT condoning his actions. What he did was horrible to Eri.

I'll be drawing a normal version of Fatgum as well at some point. I need to find the right pose by doodling them out.
