There are no “distractions.” Life doesn’t come at us one event at a time on a conveyor belt. The bad stuff happens all the time inflicted by the bad people. Anytime I hear someone say it’s a distraction, I want to point a laser pointer at a wall for them to get some cat exercise.

The vitriol to me is I’m Right, You’re Wrong Syndrome. Once the nutzos decide a player is Their Guy, no one can say anything that might be criticism. Hard to interact with that.
