This International Women’s Day, my heart is with the women & girls of Iran, Lebanon, Palestine & across the Middle East being killed & maimed by our missile strikes & American-made bombs.
My heart is with the immigrant women & girls ICE detains in American concentration camps.
Today is a rallying cry for women’s liberation.
Liberation from unpaid labor.
Liberation from patriarchal societies that make women & girls’ lives expendable as they pursue wars of conquest, domination & bloodshed.
Women’s liberation is the collective liberation of the world.
