I modded my 18 year old Thinkpad X61 tablet for USB-C charging to be able to use any USB-C PD chargers, I was tired of hunting down its barrel plug adapter, and I use this often still.
Fun fact, this X61 is serial number 2! It was purchased new by my then employer, and I was the only user.

Throwback to 2023 when I got to visit the Connections Museum in Seattle (in the Duwamish CenturyLink Central Office building). Me going off-hook on a model 354 telephone connected to a step-by-step (Strowger) electro-mechanical switching system.

I'm sad to share that the trans vet that took her life outside the VA last week was apparently Elisa Rae Shupe.

She's someone many of us know - she was responsible for the mass email leak that let us know how the ADF, Heritage, etc planned to enact trans eradication we see today.

State Department Travel Safety Website Changes "LGBTQI+ Travelers" to "LGB Travelers" The change is an attempt to insert a divide in the LGBTQIA+ community by the Trump administration, and to erase transgender people from any consideration or recognition.

1. The state department has removed transgender people from its website and just reads "LGB Travelers," as reported by a number of journalists.

However, on further investigation, it is also removing trans-specific directions for individual countries.
