Just for a bit of fun. If the Lib Dems replicated the results of Thursdays by-elections and received in the region of 35.72% of the vote at a General Election they could receive over 400+ seats and form the government!

This is not about him dodging tax. It's about his willingness to dodge tax. That's the problem.

I'm a vicar in a small rural village. I could never say this to my flock because of the outcry, but Reform are blatantly opposed to genuine Christian values and it's clear that anyone considering voting for them has not been listening to a single word I say each week

As journalists working today many of us are taught to recognise disinformation when we see it and fight back against it.

Unfortunately there are some who willingly seek it out and put it on their front pages. A disgrace to the profession.

The BBC gave this so much unchallenged coverage yesterday. On the day the appallingly weak SEND announcement was made and also faced virtually no challenge. Journalism is so weak in many areas.

Screenshot of a New Statesman article suggesting that the government will introduce a price cap on independent specialist provision.

It took a while but it’s a relief that the government might have finally listened to Lib Dem calls for a profit cap on SEND providers.

For too long the SEND private market has been a rigged racket. Hopefully this change will mark the end of our vulnerable children being treated like cash cows.

Children first. Roads fixed. Libraries saved.

Our Lib Dem-run county council is delivering real change for Devon. It has unveiled a budget that puts children, families and our communities first.

Reform faces police investigation over ‘concerned neighbour’ byelection letters Material distributed in Gorton and Denton did not have legally required imprint stating it was funded by party

A Reform spokesperson said the letter was given to its print contractor “with the full and correct legal imprint, fully compliant with election law” but it was “inadvertently removed at the point of printing” without the party’s knowledge. FROM A PDF? NO WAY.
