But there still is a lot of amazing indie books especially in queer romance and comics 🤷 but idk the way kids book searches on Amazon are flooded w/ nonsense AI books is so depressing to me
And a lot of indie children’s books are such slop even before AI cuz there always 1 out of 10 people who go “I can write a children’s book” and then use a service who uses clip art and they write something so stupid because obviously kids don’t deserve anything good cuz they’re just kids
Usually I wouldn’t say anything indie is slop but the indie book industry is literally 50% slop cuz 1) people can’t write and need editors and 2) AI
My birthday landed on a Caturday! Its a little funny. Anyhow I need to be more online, It’s too hard to stay inspired alone. You can’t only draw for work.
