I think this team really reaches new heights if Ant can make the growth to point guard like James harden. You put naw Jaden and naz with him and Rudy in the middle and you beat the snot out of people. He hasnโ€™t shown he could do it in long stretches yet but thatโ€™s what I want to see.

Great wolves win. Convincing. Defense was first and offense was much better than against the clippers. Still easier to beat up on teams trending down like these lakers on a back to back. But the energy was great, vibes are strong. Canโ€™t write it all off to circumstance you still gotta show up

Effort was good last night and defense was fly around and great. Is it gonna bum people out though if I say we probably lose that game against half the teams in the league cause we didnโ€™t score enough? Still liked the effortโ€ฆ ๐Ÿซฃ

I appreciate your commitment to trying to emphasize the nuanceโ€ฆ I keep trying to say if he was his usual happy go lucky โ€œeverything is fineโ€ weโ€™d have a bigger problem on our hands. Everything is not fine but thatโ€™s a long way from โ€œthis is all broken and we canโ€™t fix itโ€

Couldnโ€™t agree more. Blanch fresh green beans not canned. But definitely use the canned soup. Thin it a little bit with some heavy cream and garlic and a lot of red chili flake and then use 14 boxes of Frenchs fried onions and youโ€™re all set.

I get the wolves fans panic, they arenโ€™t good yet this year. The locker room quotes arenโ€™t really that special though. Teams that are supposed to be good and lose 4 in a row should sound pissed off. If they donโ€™t, you got a bigger problem.

This would never happen but what if the luxury tax got spread amongst smaller market teams contingent upon them using it for payroll somehowโ€ฆ give big market teams the opportunity to spend to retain or recruit while also adding some salary to lower earning teamsโ€ฆ

27.11.2024 16:49 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

A salary cap would make it better, I think itโ€™s time.

Going back to 2015, when we saw the Royals beat the Mets, (13th ranked payroll to 18th) there are often as many small market teams going deep as big. notably coming to mind, the diamondbacks making it all the way before losing last year. Always fun when the payroll giants get taken down in October.

While I might agree with the premise that salary cap might increase peril, I disagree with the idea that spending the most money has consistently yielded winning teams, in fact we have a lot of evidence that these teams that buy their teams often fall short, many times not even making the playoffs.

That throw to swift was incredible. Maybe best play weโ€™ll see all week

He still deserves all the hate for the way he handled it though. But the premise that he was also stupid to think he shouldโ€™ve gotten the ball is just wrong imo.

Hahaha ๐Ÿ˜‚ I appreciate the engagement back and forth. Stand by my opinion though. The clunky hands are UGLY when they show up, we can agree on that.

AND i think itโ€™s a stretch to say โ€œJulius Randle was being smart thinking Rudy wouldnโ€™t catch that entry pass.โ€ Nah he got an iso called for him and wanted to make a play and so he didnโ€™t make the correct read. Selfish by both players. Shit that losing teams do.

23.11.2024 17:00 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Again, I just think thatโ€™s more of a reputation thing than an actual playing the numbers and percentages truth. We remember him dropping easy passes. Percentage-wise that was the high efficiency smart play to make, heโ€™s going to most often just get wrapped up and get 2 free throws.

23.11.2024 16:59 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 2    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

That being said, the 3 seconds the foul, the pouting, all just garbage from a guy we need to lead. After that moment it was clearly a loss even with 5 minutes left

23.11.2024 16:01 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

The loss was bad. I feel like maybe in the minority of people who think it was really dumb not to feed Rudy under the basket there. Everything Rudy did after that: inexcusable. But as much as we like to talk about Rudyโ€™s bad hands, a deep seal under the basket like that is 2pt or FTs 85% of the time

It reads just like one of his weird quite whispery monologues in criminal intent, where the punchline is that heโ€™s actually accusing the pig. And the pig actually committed all the murders weโ€™ve been trying to solve for 44 minutes.

Gotta be one of the dumber challenges Iโ€™ve seen. I get itโ€™s Al horford and you want to show him respect but the replay video team should be ashamed telling mazzula to challenge that. Fouled him 3 times before the โ€œcleanโ€ block

What is writing if youโ€™re not writing about โ€œpoliticsโ€? โ€œPoliticsโ€ is intersectional to everything affecting the human condition. Apolitical writing is like soulless art without inspiration, what would be the purpose?
