A derby is only a derby if it comes from the Tyne & Wear region, otherwise it's just sparkling rivalry

It is on the advice of our legal team that we will not be commenting further at this time. 👀

No podcast this week folks - we’re all over the place with work/Xmas diaries so apologies!

If we keep winning when we haven’t recorded, we will just throw the podcast in the bin.

Someone mentioned on here away v wba 98. One of the first games I ever went to Sunderland were losing 2-0 to Man Utd at roker park and won 3-2 all the goals in the first half #safc

August 2013, we beat MK Dons at home in the League Cup 4-2 after going 2-0 down

Anyone remember the last time #SAFC came from two down to win?

Delighted they kept going right till the end.

Injuries are absolutely killing us atm, every time it feels like we are getting settled ….bang up pops another long term injury.

Could do with some reinforcements in Jan

Mind you we need to start taking the chances we are creating as well.

0-1 is worse. Congrats to the lads for keeping going.

Our attacks are pedestrian. Isidor is constantly making runs, wanting either ball to feet or over the top. Ballard and Patterson gave it that way in the first half but little else after that.
AA might give Rigg a little respite, but he’s not an improvement, might give Isidor a bit more service tho?

Thought that was Dan Neil’s best performance of the season. Carried the team in the second half. Great that Paddy scored as well. Hopefully fans will give them both a bit of respite from over the top criticism

The team are looking tired which is worrying with all the games to come. Lots of younger players feeling the strain I think and injuries stacking up. We need a few more incoming in January.

Any reflective thoughts after that performance last night? 1-1 is a poor result tbh #SAFC

Rodwell basically wins every worst player category 🤣 which is why he was your buy for the specials

Didn’t mind Simms. Could be lazy but at least he bagged a good few goals. Grabban was the same really. Maybe arguably Maja too. Grigg has to be the worst though surely?!? Shoutout to Adnan Januzaj too
