Fair enough. Agree his away record was bad at those places but overall I think he did a decent job.

I don't think we were shite in his first spell (we were consistently around top 6) with very little money tbf. I think it's a long time since we have competed with them regularly and when he went first time we then spent 10 years or so pretty much fighting relegation and changing managers regularly.

Agree re our scouting. I've no problem buying a young Barry type (altho at a cheaper price) if you have a proper starting striker. Same theory applies to Dibling as well. We have spent our 2 biggest fees on potential. Madness.

Well in all honesty it's true tho isn't it. I can't imagine many decent PL strikers are begging their agent to get them a move to Everton.

The one thing I will say in defence of Moyes and our strikers is Moyes said in the summer attracting players to Everton was more difficult than ever so I'd not be confident of a decent PL proven striker turning up in January.

Whilst I broadly agree he did okay tonight and I'd say the Brighton game. However it's basically him or Beto (who has proven over a long time he aint good enough) so I'd play Barry for 5-6 games on the run and give him 60-75 mins rather than this constant chopping and changing.

Obviously Barry should score that sitter but overall he was playing okay and putting Beto on just after half time not only destroys his confidence but also basically means we are settling for a point with nearly 40 mins left.

I posted before that Mykolenko spends most of his time at inside left to free up Grealish but it does not work because opposing teams have no worry of Mykolenko getting forward so just leave him anyway.

Mykolenko in an inside left position to free up Grealish. Only works if the other team are worried about Mykolenko attacking. They aren't!
Other than give it to Grealish/N'Diaye we don't have much else!

I don't think Moyes rates him. Even when everyone thought it was a no brainer tonsign him at the end of last season, he took ages to sign him and he didn't really play him pre season other than out wide (where he isnt very good). The problem for him is he plays in our strongest area.

He's not a right back for starters. He has done well for us overall but tonight an example of a tricky winger being a bit too quick for him but also (and it's not his fault) he does not really offer anything going forward, so for a defensive team it's easy to block our RHS
