Just make sure you give yourself grace because a lot of the time your success in life is dictated very much by the circumstances of your birth which are out of anyone's control

Taking care of yourself is worthy because you being here is a good thing if you try to be kind where you can within reason

I know it isn't easy especially trying to heal at all when your wounds are constantly reopened by your surroundings but I really hope you can at least try to take care of yourself, making sure you drink water and try to do something small you enjoy

Definitely, what helps me won't be helpful for everyone especially in situations where you are still living in a toxic place. It's very hard to just baseline take care of yourself in a scenario where a lot of things are genuinely out of your control until you can leave which is hard in of itself-

I think everyone needs a little hope right now, that's what will get us a better tomorrow

It's been a lot of healing, I'm starting to feel like the growing pains are almost over

I am careful about what energy I put out into the world because you get what you give. Words have power, on your mind and on the way you see things and understand that now after making mistakes

I can't fix systemic racism but I can make sure my elderly neighbor is doing ok, I can't fix a lot of things but I can make my impact a positive one on the people around me

and impactful to the people around you and you don’t need money to do small acts of kindness when you are able

It’s better than feeling hopeless and powerless. This isn’t going to fix every problem but it starts fixing things that would perhaps not be fixed if you didn’t take the initiative. I understand most of us don’t have unlimited resources but where you put your energy is also important-

Honestly if anyone feels hopeless and like everything is out of control it has helped me to take control of everything I physically can. I can have a capable body, I can be kind to the people around me, I can do small things in my community to improve it.
