This sentence in Heather Cox Richardson's recent post is encouraging this morning. Keep reaching out! "Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) noted on Facebook that the U.S. Senate phone system has been overwhelmed with around 1,600 calls a minute, in contrast to the 40 calls a minute it usually receives."

Angry about actions taken, and not taken, in DC?
Don't bother with online petitions or emailing. Instead:
1) Have face-to-face time with congressmen. When you go, ask questions.
2)You should make 6 calls a day: 2 each (DC office and your local office) to your 2 Senators & your 1 Representative.
Happy Thanksgiving from Alaska!
