But those are a little too late - damage is done. Their initial statement is being regurgitated across the web already.

I appreciate the discussion and support. What makes this atrocious in my pov is how the IGAs decided to handle the whole thing. Imply they knew about the game from way back, and becoming aware of the fact after the ceremony aired (as if they only knew about the game from itch and the compo)
