The XYAB buttons have always felt weird to me but dammit this controller made a statement for the Xbox
Such a stunning portrayal, she’s been on my radar since these came out
It’s honestly such an insulting name
hand eroticism goes hard
Grace and Leon from Resident Evil Requiem
Leon S Kennedy eating a pear "Heh, where's the other one?"
We as a society need to move on from coming up with new meanings for the S
💀💀💀
He sure is an Asian character introduced by Jeph Loeb #ngl
Also lol Invincible cover
Transformers #30 by Robert Kirkman & Dan Mora
That was an emotional rollercoaster led by stellar art. It’s intense to see the Elita plot line reach this conclusion(?) while simultaneously setting up Optimus for greater conflict on Earth as a result. Again, the art sold the emotional stakes so well
Idc I will read deeply into Sonic stories regardless of its age demographic
Anyways, Moon Knight is good, ya’ll brains are too fried for a slow & intimate character exploration, and shut the fuck up
I know the show isn’t exactly underrated, but I still hate the discourse around it as it just boils down to nitpicking the accuracy and neglecting what the show is actually offering, and the profound ideas it has to say that fit PERFECTLY into the mythos & themes of Moon Knight
It’s a Steven Grant origin story, it’s easy to say both him and Marc are the main characters, but Marc is more like a *very* prominent supporting character to Steven’s journey. Moon Knight has always been the manifestation of the emotional and moral turmoil the character feels, not the subject
I also hate HATE the lazy “surf Dracula” complaint people always have for these things. I know costumes & action are tentpoles of the superhero genre, but yall really can’t stop twitching & foaming when you don’t get your garish colors & meritless violence (there’s multiple MK/Mr. Knight fights btw)
The only criticism I’ll agree with is the ending being kinda bad. It falls into the same trappings a lot of Marvel shows from this era had of needing an Avengers-level final battle when the conflict between Khonshu, Ammit, Harrow, and Marc/Steven should’ve garnered something more intimate
Hell the entire final act of the show may has well have been a lite adaptation of Jeff Lemire’s run. I feel like “comic accuracy” elitists hang onto one discrepancy to justify their hatred for everything else. Not like the rest of the MCU is even all that comic accurate to begin with
The changes that are there are in service of the DID narrative, which was more of an afterthought in the comics anyways before the last decade. The heightened mystic abilities are also a sensible way to get around the contrivance of Steven being a millionaire just to explain his vigilante resources
“It’s not accurate to the comics” the only actual differences are how they retooled Steven and Mr. Knight, the character of Marc, his origin, Khonshu, etc. are all consistent (literally who cares that it’s Layla and her father instead of that cardboard Marlene).
I feel a violent rage when I see Moon Knight (show) slander. I’m so overprotective of that show
Like I didn’t think they could top Absolute Zatanna but they did
Guys I fucking love Absolute Scarecrow so much. He’s actually my new favourite character
Losing my shit over this homage variant
Art by Clay Mann, after Takeshi Obata
Superboy Prime vs Manchester Black? Prime better be clowning on him the entire time
Art by Eddy Barrows
It’s not enough that Rucka & Dani are writing & drawing this, but Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou is also lettering this?!?
Batwoman is firing on all cylinders
Every time I thought I knew what the movie was about it kept pulling the rug out. Such a surreal experience
This movie’s great. It’s like if Luke Skywalker got addicted to heroin and some other shit happens too
