That's totally understandable. Just thought I'd share my experience, since I've been very happy with the results.

I was in a similar situation, and my doctor recommended an IUD. Now I don't have any periods, and it is glorious! Highly recommend. Important note though: the insertion is incredibly painful. Ask for local anaesthetic or another, better pain relief than "take ibuprofen an hour before the procedure."

You should care about this because trans people are human beings with inalienable human rights, but even if you don't, you should care about this for your own personal safety

I feel this so strongly. Covid was a test of our moral integrity & decency -- *not just elites, but all of us* -- and we failed.

I genuinely think one reason Covid has been memory-holed so hard, & so crusted w/ myths & conspiracy theories, is that on some level we know this & are ashamed.

Not a bad start, but what would be ideal is not needing a car in the first place. ie. well-connected, frequent commuter rail, good bus services, etc.
