We have removed the recommendation to vote No on R45: Voting Rights for All Members from our voter guide. We recommended a No vote because the original text of the resolution had language which could inadvertently ban live voting at chapter meetings, the authors have fixed it.

Abdullah is a UAW member and a founding member of the Labor for an Arms Embargo campaign. He is also a researcher with the No Harbor for Genocide campaign, where he maps out the movement of weapons and military cargo around the world.

Sid is a member of Central Brooklyn DSA and Marxist Unity Group. A field organizer on both Zohran Mamdani’s and Eon Huntley’s electoral campaigns, Sid’s priority has been greater collaboration between DSA’s electoral apparatus and the NYC tenants movement.

Katie is the electoral chair of Ithaca DSA and a member of the National Electoral Commission Steering Committee. Katie has led campaign teams in to five wins on the Ithaca Common Council. They are a member of the Ithaca Tenants Union, which won a major expansion for tenants rights last year.

Gershom is a volunteer organizer with the Emergency Workplace Organizing Committee, Tech Workers Coalition, and Federal Unionists Network.
