It's great. I've been playing old Full Sail eps on my screen while doing stuff as of late.

Netflix, which has been very selective about their sports programming thus far, has officially gotten into the baseball market:

A few podcasts a week, some variety stuff here & there and a LOT of archived stuff. It's probably pretty cheap overall and a huge volume of stuff you can push out on a weekly basis.

But, to keep making such a variety of content &pumping out on a weekly basis takes time and money.

The new focus wisely seems more on their thousands of hours of archive content, which not only is hard to find online (and will be even harder to find once their Peacock deal is up), but is evergreen.

WWE's Youtube strategy in the early 2010s was original content. Variety programming every day, tons of NEW content.

In 2012, WWE even had a Mystery Science-esque web show called "Are You Serious?" (proof: youtu.be/feov0bmMdXE?...)

They won Best Brand on Youtube at the 2012 Shorty Awards:

Interesting quote here in the Variety piece - It seems like WWE is doing its biggest Youtube content strategy since the early 2010s, this time focusing on specific channels instead of dumping it all onto one main network.

This would probably be avoided if WWE just made the hard pivot of posting all NXT clips on the NXT channel only, but I assume they haven't done this because there would be much less visibility on the smaller, growing channel.

The NXT Youtube channel, which has hundreds of hours of archived shows at this point, has gone under the radar of many. I think this is mainly because if you search "NXT" on Youtube, you just get videos from WWE's main channel, which is much more dominant with views.
