Getting the Washington licenses for all of us took ONE DAY. Possibly because I assumed it would be just as difficult as Texas and brought the entire packet of info, including passports...

What's crazy to me is that when I got my Texas Real ID driver's license, I didn't have to do anything special to get it. It just showed up after a renewal one year.

But getting my kids' Texas driver's licenses was an ordeal that took weeks for each one. Their passports were easy in comparison.
