Astronaut Jim Lovell, famed Apollo 13 commander, dies at 97 Lovell was also the first astronaut to go to space four times and part of the Apollo 8 crew, the first to launch on the Saturn V rocket and first to orbit the moon.

He didn't get to the moon but he got his crew home, and that was the more remarkable task.

I love summer rain. The smell of it 🤤 so good!

Good news! The Cantilever Bar Wildfire south of Lytton is now classified as HELD! It’s 1,420 hectares in size and was discovered last Monday. Cooler temperatures have helped and crews have been hitting the fire hard.

In Lytton - the primary care clinic is unavailable due to a water and sewer outage. Anyone in need of urgent care can go to the Ashcroft Urgent and Primary Care Centre ... about an hour away.
