Did the sums too. 2x Chicken Shish from 5 mins away = £24! That lot cost £9 & a little bit of effort. Was just as tasty, better for me I & have enough salad leftover to knock up a big Greek salad in the week to go with some fish.

My efforts to eat less junk & fast food this year go on. Really, really fancied a Kebab tonight so popped out earlier & picked a few bits up. Would have preferred the chicken to marinate overnight but 4 hours will do.
Not my favourite away day because of the running track, but it is my easiest travel. Home games are a 3 hour round trip and this is half that #OneSlough

It's a credit to @sloughtownfc.bsky.social scouting network that we only retained 4 last season, only 2 recruited that had played step 2 previously, & the lads from step 3 & 4 have stepped up so well. 1st 14 of the season, injuries & new squad gelling, last 20 just magnificent.
