When we decided to open up a magazine shop in the hi desert we never thought it would make people so bewildered. We literally get people walking in a bit nervous, looking like toddlers that just woke up from a nap! It's kind of crazy and heartening.

I am! I went through an Artist’s Way/morning pages phase to help me break a careeer rut and better understand a creative project I was working on. I’ve not gone back to it, but it was super helpful when I was doing them.

Ok. So I had to watch The Goodbye Girl for a movie club I was in because we were going down the Best Actor winning performances category. And let me say, this one still holds up! Dreyfuss(who won that year) was good, but Marsha Mason was perfection!

Also… it so happens I bumped into Cynthia Erivo at the Conrad on day of the L.A. premiere and she looked amazing. I was so stunned I was only able to blurt out “We love you Ms Erivo”
And she looked back at me so sweetly and said “thank you” - I died!

Just had a 45- minute conversation about Wicked the movie with a customer and I’m all in to see this one in the theater!
