Respectfully disagreeing. After seeing how many notable people are in the files, it's seems fairly unlikely Epstein took the easy way out. And the fact that he had video and financial dirt on so many of them, it becomes improbable. Lots of folks had good reason to shut the man up for good.

You outlined the issue perfectly. The problem is that many people fail to realize this has been his method of operating for years. He did this as a businessman with impunity.
Three reasons so many of us have stopped watching Sunday interview programs:
(1) Major media companies are owned by billionaires who want profits and not serious discourse.
(2) Hosts are powerless to buck this trend if they want to keep their job.
(3) The same lying talking heads are the guests.
