Ohio State University will investigate former President Walter “Ted” Carter Jr.’s inappropriate relationship that led to his resignation, a university spokesman said.
"Whatever the vetting process is for finding university leadership, it clearly needs to be overhauled. But with that said, a certain former national championship-winning head coach should at the very least be considered to be next in line."
Carter’s replacement, particularly at a school with such a powerful athletic brand, will have to make sports a priority.

The university announced Monday that Carter told trustees he had a relationship with someone seeking public resources to support her personal business. After disclosing the situation, Carter offered to resign, and the board accepted.
