I feel bad saying this, I’m a football fan, but defending human rights is what’s important rn. Two things can happen: whitewash everything that’s going on or countries finally doing something against it

Its sad how football is more relevant than people being killed in broad daylight. But I hope the World Cup ends up being a mess, maybe that’s the only way for other countries to act. Truly sad.

Some countries will not participate on this years Eurovision because Israel is competing. I don’t think that countries will step back from the World Cup, but looking at what’s happening rn, news are beginning to question the security for the football fans wanting to travel there

I won’t be surprised if there are players questioned or forbidden entrance for their political views

Some people will only realize how grave the situation in the US is when the World Cup is cancelled or threatened
