Will say he is easier to play solo normally, since you need to be the one to hit the enemies, but works fine in multiplayer if you communicate properly.

can be quite difficult with open lobby's though

with mutation stacks I would normally just find the largest gatherings of enemies i can find cast larva nearby to gather them, then use virulence on that since you get one segment per hit and any enemy killed can also give a full stack.

with nidus I usually focus mainly on strength and then range mods. and some health and Armor for survivability.
efficiency doesn't really matter since you have the energy refund from virulence.
max energy is nice to have be able to cast more, but not fully needed with the energy refund

Nidus is one of my favourites too, could probably say a few things on how i have him if wanted.
wont say anything without being asked though, know many people like figuring them out themselves

Do feel like there could be issues with a perma system like that, even being opt in.
I would say that some form of undo, should things like pressuring people into it or people regretting a character being permad. cause i know even with being opt in there will be those doing that to get the number up
