The brief called for a less monstrous ghast, who stands upright and rules through intelligence. I had the idea that his armour is pillaged from graves and barrows, so doesn’t fit him properly and is jammed onto his spikes

There is! They’re part of a pantheon of Gods and spirits in a Bronze Age high fantasy world I’m building. The wind crocodiles are being celebrated in a festival in this piece, where the locals tame and release seagulls for the spirits to eat ☺️

A pair of gnomes working in their steampunk warehouse was an intimidating brief, but I’m still fond of this piece. Especially the accidental pinkhaired Cate Blanchett lookalike 😅
