Drawing on sociophonetic data of 100 speakers, my chapter investigates rhotacization of the NURSE vowel in Trinidadian English.

We are also going to use FAVE-extract on the Nigerian English data soon, and we'll be using FAVE on other West African Englishes in the future.

The plan sounds very good! Let me know if you want me to share experiences we've had in using FAVE-align and (the Trinidadian version) of FAVE-extract on other Caribbean varieties (Dominica, Grenada). We've also recently started using FAVE-align for a new project on Nigerian English [1]
