…and suing CA so they can’t push for cars that pollute less. Because, you know, it’s all about the health.
Did anyone offer any sort of explanation for this? I see where it says the ref took a bump, did the wrestlers think he was just overselling?
I’m trying to find something more easy to believe than “All the wrestlers in the ring and staff surrounding it are just garbage humans.”
Hell, if I had that level of fuck-you money I’d have so many legendary guitars. I was at the Met last weekend looking at the prototype Les Paul thinking how much I’d love to have it. Same thing at MoPop in Seattle. Why don’t I ever win the lottery?
Always remember, folks- it ain’t all about ratings.
Quesadillas and Jemas really did make some big changes in the industry. Despite the hate for Jemas, I think he did more good than harm.
FETCH ME A BOY!!! (action figure)
Jeezum Crow, the Iranians said over and over for the last 40+ years they’d close the straits if attacked. Don’t tell me the US intel apparatus was unaware, just admit our government is incompetent and chose not to believe it.
Then that’s a helluva lot of guys who make it look easy for him.
At some point, you gotta admit he’s got skills.
Tune in next week to find out why!
Years back, we took a family vacation to San Diego, not knowing there was a classic Rolls convention booked in the same resort. The bungalow next to us was occupied by the owner of that Rolls, with a little sign in it identifying it as the car.
Never been so careful parking before or after.
Huh? There’s no incentive for the DNC to do so. An election thrown out because of fraud would be worthless and damaging.
It’s not like this has EVER happened, despite Republican rhetoric.
Does that mean it shouldn’t be reported on?
First, it tells us about the character of the men making decisions that affect all of us. Second, all stories and reporting are valuable, even if not to everyone at all times.
Superheroes are inherently conservative, working to maintain the status quo rather than make any lasting changes. Those making lasting changes tend to not appear in comic books.
Whaaaaat? No…
Jeez, I miss Desert Storm. Clear villain, support of the world, and a mission goal that was achieved and the mission ended.
Obviously there were still many issues around it, but it really was a model for how foreign intervention should work.
I remember when Bill stepped up after Carl retired. I felt like Carl was irreplaceable, and I was right- but Bill made that part his own, and now he will be irreplaceable in his own right.
I’m eager to hear the next announcer!
I don’t think people realize how much merch Danhausen already moved before he signed with AEW. Now, with WWE behind him, I suspect it’ll be quite a bit more, as long as WWE can figure out ways to use him without him wrestling too much. (He’s great, but NXT tier as a wrestler.)
Just curious, can we all agree some matches are iconic? Hogan/Andre, Mankind/Undertaker, Hart/Austin, maybe Angle/Shane, what else are the actual icons that most fans know and recognize?
This is meant to be honest, not insulting- he’s past his prime. His name doesn’t sell, his crowd work ain’t great, and there’s nothing about him that’s currently a draw. His skills are still good, but that doesn’t elevate him. He’d be better on the indy circuit pushing his merch.
I doubt it. He’s a merch machine with a massive online presence. When he drops out of WWE’s top 10 merch movers, I’ll be surprised.
My only consolation is that we may get to watch The Last Drive-In on another streaming service going forward. Even if it’s only reruns I’d still be happy.
Someone’s never talked to a wrestling fan, I see.
Got to NYC 9 hours late, but we got there!
They should talk about going for the belts every week, then get squashed. The payoff when they finally win a match will be glorious.
The dog is a special referee who shoots the loser.
Make sure Trump has to defend his hall of fame status by facing off against Noem, Miller and Leavitt in a four way. And make sure there’s four losers.
The purpose of “a taco truck on every corner” was that I could get a taco every time I go to the mailbox!
How many times has someone debuted and won the belt in AEW? I could understand your skepticism if it was like this happened all the time, but so far it’s a damn good story.
But it’s okay- I see you like to be aggressive in your posts, so you can pretend we’re fighting if you like.
I assume it wouldn’t be up to Mick- and I also suspect Brian would be glad just to get some help.
Not me! (Because I partner with a woman!)
