Meta literally created a LGBTQ exception for calling someone mentally ill as an insult. You can't do it for any other group except LGBTQ people.
Mum thought I was just being an awkward child, I’d eaten fish fingers a gazillion times before, so she didn’t let me leave the table until I’d eaten them. I sobbed and sobbed but eventually ate it, terrified that it was poisoned. I’ve never eaten fish again! Even the thought of it makes me ill 🤢
We were learning about river pollution in school and how this impacts on fish and ecosystems in the rivers, and that humans can eat the fish, etc. I was probably about 6 or 7 years old.
That evening, mum made fish fingers for tea. I was too terrified to eat it, I was convinced the fish was polluted

Oh no! Sorry to hear this. Glad you’re ok and insurance can cover. It’s so dangerous being out on the roads in this weather but some people can’t avoid being out for work, etc. Luckily I was WFH today but will need to brave the roads tomorrow. 😬
I wouldn’t worry too much about body horror. It’s not very scary, just a few WTAF moments that will have you more laughing in disbelief than covering your eyes in disgust. It’s a brilliant film and well worth giving it a watch.

We’ve written to the Oxford Literary Festival to question why Helen Joyce is listed under their LGBTQ+ category. Her widely criticised views on trans inclusion make this association both insulting and tone-deaf to the LGBTQ+ community. We’ve asked for this to be corrected.
