I'm paywalled and can't read the article, so I'll throw a wild theory. While obviously not an easy trek, this is big site close to the Morehouse School of Medicine. Is this a future SOM/Academic Medical Center? They would have been aware Wellstar was available and intentionally chose Met instead.

December 7 is one of those days that everyone associates with a specific event, in this case the sneak attack on Pearl Harbor. But there’s another event that took place just 5 years later that became nearly as horrifying, the 1946 Winecoff Hotel Fire in Atlanta, Georgia.
