I partied like a Young Person last night with some of the kids and producers from the fault in our stars and paper towns.

(They aren't kids anymore, of course. They're impressive adults living thoughtful and essential lives.)

With >10 years of hindsight, everything has faded except the gratitude.

50+1 would not be a permanent solution to all our problems (and wouldn't fund Plough Lane expansion). But without fan ownership, Wimbledon (to me, anyway) becomes just another football club and puts its future at risk (look what's happening to Wednesday, a much bigger club than we currently are).

I have no inherent problem with 50+1. I have a huge problem with people who think the club doesn't need to be fan-owned. Fan ownership is the core of what makes Wimbledon special, and that does require a different level of commitment than other fans have, and so I don't mind periodic fundraisers.
