I don’t think we talk enough about how the foundational, most aspirational premise of the AI industry is “what if there was a human-level intelligence that didn’t have human rights.” Like. Exploitation is literally the whole point! Of COURSE they hold human life, intelligence and labour in contempt!

Getting well-meaning emails from libraries and bookstores like "congrats on finishing your first book" and....no. 😭 I have been writing for more than 2 decades. I have finished dozens of books. This is far from the first one I ever wrote. THAT book should never ever see the light of day.
I know the only way to sell your book is to talk about your book, but man I am sick of talking about this book 😭 Anyway, cute robots, compelling mystery, sad gays in space, etc, please read it and spread the word.
I know it's ultimately a good thing for the book, but deleting 8K words and replacing them with 2K new words doesn't feel like I'm making any progress and I hate feeling like that!!
