Met with pain management Friday after an MRI on Wednesday.
Doctor says that I will need bilateral spinal injections at my L5-S1 to help with the pain I get while sitting and standing.

When you become chronically ill, you have to process a lot of loss.
Loss of independence. Of friends & family who can’t accept that you’re not “getting better”.
Loss of the comfort that comes from believing the medical system will help you when you need it.
Loss of autonomy & hope for the future.
When i take a gummy and the pain relief kicks in I, for lack of a better term, get the zoomies. I start doing thinks around the house that I normally can’t, I get to focus on my projects, my brain is free of everything except the ADHD. I wish this was possible unmedicated.
I was going to wait on publishing this one but it seems even more relevant now. No human being is illegal.
