Beauty product confession: for at least the last 30 years I have used (and continue to use daily) the same products- apricot face scrub, oil of olay moisturizer, dove original deodorant and cover girl black/brown eyeliner pencil. God help me when they stop making them.

Spent my morning in a room of primarily Trans and Queer voices discussing how our play can be a tiny act of rebellion in a het-cis space. Theatre can’t solve all the world’s problems right now, but we can make things a bit uncomfortable while audiences work out what the next right thing is.

Meet Clementine. Today we discovered that she is mostly Pit, Chihuahua and Rat Terrier with a touch of Miniature Schnauzer, German shepherd and Poodle. What she is not at all is Jack Russell (what we were told she was)!
It has been a gift to be in a classroom the past two days with students that are incredibly tapped into empathy and still activated enough to want to make change. It brings me hope that we will find our way to compassion and unity. I am cynical, bruised and scared, but trying so hard not to give up.
