Have you noticed that every politician pushing this suddenly has a "parental rights" slogan? It's always the same playbook—manufacture outrage, exploit tragedies, then rush through legislation before anyone has time to fact-check their claims.

They won't even listen to the tech experts who are warning them this will actually hurt kids, especially LGBTQ+ youth who rely on online communities for support when their real-life families refuse to love and accept them.

I wouldn't be posting this if I wasn't serious. I'm asking you to stop believing whatever "protect the children" BS lie they're feeding you this week, because they know using children gets many people to nod along without reading the full bills (S. 3546 and H.R. 6746).

KOSA is a security and privacy risk which will force adults to hand over sensitive information to Big Tech companies in order to verify their age. This will be exploited by the administration to surveil and have citizens detained for arbitrary reasons, especially if they are left leaning.

KOSA will not protect kids!

Queer people like myself are worried to death every fucking day for our rights because we're living under an authoritarian administration that wants my community gone from American life completely. It will be entirely their fault once the suicide rates skyrocket to 300% if Section 230 is no more.
