I definitely recommend both! Chrono Crusade is an oldie (it came out in the early 2000s) so you might have a hard time finding it, but Heavenly Delusion is only like 3 years old. It just got overshadowed by Jujutsu Kaisen which is a shame, it's really good!

Yeah it's a mess, especially in online spaces. People are so quick to get the pitchforks out 😔 I guess the best thing we can do it try to limit the damage we may cause as much as we can

I'm not saying that bullying creators is okay, far from it. I just don't like the 'all or nothing' approach

I'll agree with you there, self proclaimed 'critics' should know when to shut up and have better arguments. Since most of the time what they have to say is shallow at best.

I will say though that criticsm isn't inherently bad, it's just fandom has twisted it so that it seems like it is

Yes fandom toxicity is a big issue and needs to be addressed, however making it so that nobody is allowed to say anything that isn't positive to a creator will only hinder them in the long run.

That's fair, however saying that criticsm should be left to the professionals isn't great either. It implies that people shouldn't apply critical thinking skills and that creators are fragile little beans who need to be coddled, it's another extreme that is not helpful +

People are allowed to have opinions!! People are allowed to express things they don't like/things that didn't work in media in a civil manner, it doesn't mean they're 'attacking' the creator. How are said creators supposed to improve their craft if they're surrounded by yes men?
