Whoever set this exam paper just knew didn't they? πππ
This. The moment of the series for me.

Cursed the grown men on skateboards as they recklessly went down the ramps at the multi-storey car park as I drove out. Grown men on skateboards. I ask you. Gave them a stern stare as I drove out listening to my 'Dr Who and The Moonbase' soundtrack..
42 years on. Remember it vividly. Just behind 'Inferno' in my favourite ever story ( though there's not much in it). Jek, though. Just Jek. 'You have the mouth of a prattling jackanapes, Doctor. But your eyes, they tell a different story..'. Bob Holmes you brilliant, genius of an old bugger!
Had the same thought about Bungle in 'Rainbow'. Prances around in the nud in the majority of episodes but wears his stripey pyjamas when he's in bed. In bed with Zippy & George but I'm not going there..π
Jane Birkin & Serge Gainsbourg in Oxford. 1969.
Getting nostalgic yearnings for Tucktonia. Went there in the summer of 76 (yes, that one π). Just the most magical childhood memory. Went to Dorset last year searching the site out. Tuckton. Christchurch. Hugely emotive..
Parents were massive fans of 'Poldark'. When I was 8 in 1975, I had a t-shirt made on holiday in Cornwall that said 'I Hate George Warleggan' on it. Mum insisted on it.
I'm in..
Wife's just introduced me to 'Doc Martin' and now I'm hooked.
Does anyone know how to cancel an Ebay bid? I've made an offer for a Mickey Mouse outfit and I'm five minutes away from owning Tottenham..

Only Spurs could appoint a Tudor when they'll beheading down..πππ€
Spurs v Lincoln City has a nice ring about it, no? π
'This is the Fashion Police. You are surrounded.Throw your clothes where we can see them...' π Yours truly. Trying to look cool in a bar in Ibiza Town circa 1988. Bless.. π
'Operation Epic Fury' sounds like a straight-to-video Steven Seagal movie.
youtube.com/watch?v=2XK0... Played this at full volume in the pub this afternoon. People of ' a certain age' put their drinks down and looked at me with some semblance of respect.
Last beer at the Old Tom by the Old Tom.
'IT'S WAR!...but first the weather with Sylvester Stuart'
Now for an excursion into the fleshpots of Oxford for a spate of heavy afternoon drinking with chums.
Kicking over the remnants of a still smouldering fire over at Shotover this morning. Not mine of course. Imagination went into overdrive. Felt like a bounty hunter in hot pursuit of a fugitive, scanning the horizon, looking for tracks, clues. A bounty hunter in wellies though.π
A new episode of World of Telly is now available wherever you get your podcasts. This month we're watching UFO, the sci-fi classic from 1970. The video version of this episode is currently in a copyright dispute so please watch it while you can! youtu.be/kgpJJzg_1S4
Cally's watching a real Timey-Wimey episode of Dr Who I've never seen. It's from 1998, with Gwyneth Paltrow and it's called 'Sliding Doors'. Hang on..
Facebook reminded me today of the day I bumped into Tony Robinson in Aylesbury who was filming 'Time Team' nearby. Asked for his autograph naturally. 'Blackadder fan I take it?' he said wearily. "More of a 'Sam on Boffs Island' fan actually" I replied. He then did the most wonderful 'double take' π
Great theme tune. Tony Soper.
